Computing Device that are loaned to you is an educational tool and should only be used to complete schoolwork.
Only the authorised student who is assigned to the particular device shall use the loaned computing device. No other person should use the loaned device.
You are expected to
present your Student Pass in order to check out an ICT equipment;
check the ICT equipment for any damages before checking out the equipment;
be responsible for all equipment checked out under your Student Pass;
treat the borrowed equipment in a responsible manner, and in a manner which will preserve the equipment to ensure its availability for other users; and
return the borrowed equipment by the given due date/time.
Loan Limits And Period
You can only borrow ICT equipment found in the following table and for the stated period of time:
Overdue, Lost And Damaged Equipment
Overdue
Equipment are considered overdue if they have not been returned by the due date/time.
In such cases, you may be subject to investigation and follow-up from us.
Lost and Damaged
You are required to
make a police report immediately, if the loss involves Item 1 (from Table 1); and
notify the ICT Department immediately of loss or damage of any ICT equipment.
Damages to or loss of equipment due to acts of negligence and/or mischief by any individual will be subject to a penalty imposed and disciplinary actions taken by the school.
Charges for loss/ damaged equipment may be imposed on you.
