Student iCON Storage

iCON unlimited storage is not available under Google’s Storage Policy changes.

1) Students have been enjoying unlimited storage since it began in 2019, which will no longer be of unlimited capacity under Google’s storage policy change.
2) With this change of policy, students’ iCON storage will be limited to 1GB.

Start data housekeeping with IMMEDIATE effect.

1) Student iCON users are required to perform data housekeeping NOW!
2) Exceeding the storage limits will result in a limited experience.

[Consequences]
Student iCON exceeding the storage limit will face restrictions that will impact user experience.

When storage limits are exceeded, student iCON users CANNOT:

1) Upload new files or images to Google Drive.

2) Create new files in collaborative content creation apps like, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms and Jamboard. Until they reduce storage usage, nobody can edit or copy their affected files or submit forms owned by the user.

3) Backup up any photos and videos to Google Photos.

However, student iCON users CAN still sign into and access their account, view and download their files, and send and receive emails.
