As part of our Erasmus project, we organized a birdwatching expedition to Sarıyer, a district of Istanbul known for its diverse avian population. Our goal was to immerse ourselves in the local ecosystem, observe various bird species, and document our findings. We spent a day exploring the designated areas, using binoculars and cameras to capture the birds in their natural habitats. We also recorded a video to share our experiences with a wider audience.
To gain further insights, we interviewed a former graduate, an experienced birdwatcher. This interview provided us with valuable perspectives on bird identification and the significance of birdwatching. This expedition was an enriching experience, allowing us to develop our observational skills, appreciate biodiversity, and enhance our teamwork. The video and interview will be a valuable addition to our project, and we are excited to share our findings.
