There is strength in numbers. Build a coalition of arts advocates who will help your voice be heard. Meet with other arts teachers in your region, parent advocates, non-arts educators who share your interests to create a unified message. Let their voices help amplify your own!

The Missouri Alliance for Arts Education (MAAE) sponsors several Advocacy programs and events.

  • Fine Arts Education Day - annual event held at the Capitol in Jefferson City

  • Show-Me Arts - advocacy training for students held in conjunction with Fine Arts Education Day

  • Arts Education Data Project - online dashboard to examine arts education opportunities across the state (currently under development). This is a joint effort involving MAAE, DESE, Missouri Arts Council, and Quadrant Research.
