The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the Pioneer department in MITE. The Main objective of the Department is to provide academic excellence, knowledge and nurture talent in the area of Mechanical Engineering. The Mechanical Engineering Course was started in the Year 2007. The Department of Mechanical Engineering has the best facilities to nurture the Mechanical engineering students in becoming the best in their domain. The Computer Aided Engineering Drawing Lab is centrally air conditioned with 120 computers and audio system. It has also advanced soft wares like ANSYS, Solid Edge, Auto CAD, Machine Drawings etc.
VISION

Students Tech Club "MECH-MITES"
MECHMITES of Mechanical Engineering Department is an association formed by the students which works for the students. The basic aim of MECHMITES is to enrich students with different qualities to add dimensions to their personality so that every student emerges as multi-functional engineer who is globally recognized. MECHMITES was established in the year 2008. The motto of MECHMITES is to mould once personality in such a way that one becomes equally competent in all streams of engineering.
