Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a workshop on “Computer Aided Design using SOLIDWORKS” in association with Global Infotech solutions, Bengaluru on 04-06 of july 2024.
Mr. Anil Ghaste,Technical Director and Mr. Vijay Doddamane have trained students on various concepts using the SOLIDWORKS tool. Students have attended the workshop and gained knowledge on the modelling and analysis tools using Solidworks. The objectives of this workshop is to create awareness of Solidworks as a modelling and analysis tool for advanced product development and provided Hands-on sessions for the students to develop their own models and run simulations.
The major outcomes of the workshop:
Students will be able to sketch and develop 3D models of different parts of the machines using 3D tools.
Students will be able to build a complete setup of different machine elements by using assembly tool

On December 21, 2023, the Mechanical Engineering Department of MITE organized a technical session on "Cyber Security & Ethical hacking". The speaker was Mr. Dhanoop R, Cyber Security Analyst from Techbyheart India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore.
During the session, mechanical engineering students were thoroughly involved in studying the topics of cyber-security and ethical hacking. Participants gained knowledge about potential risks, defense tactics, and ethical concerns associated with hacking.
