Collaborative Leadership

This gear gave me great insight into the importance of collaboration and having a shared vision. As teachers move forward into teaching with technology it is important that all leaders and teachers have a shared vision. Many teachers are using technology because that is what they are asked to do, not because they understand the importance of its use within the classroom. If they had an understanding of the technology shared vision, they might realize how important the use of technology is within their classroom.

I believe that as teachers collaborate together they can help each other out by sharing their best practices using technology. I am a firm believer of borrowing an idea and modifying it to make it fit my needs. I believe that the PLCs held in my school need to be revised and be more productive. By sharing this project I hope to remind myself and others of the importance of leadership in collaboration.
