Kayla Helton is a first year teacher at MICDS and is the World History teacher for 5th Grade. She is a native St. Louisan and has previously taught twelve years of secondary-level History classes in the St. Louis metro area. She currently resides in St. Louis City with her husband and two dogs. 

Marcela Casco-Lee is a first year teacher at MICDS and is one of the talented Middle School Spanish teachers. Prior to working at MICDS, Ms. Casco-Lee taught in the private education systems in St. Louis and Chicago. She began her teaching career in Honduras, where she is from! She now lives in St. Louis with her husband and two children.
