S.I.- I wanted to express the importance and architectural/historical beauty of Italy and some of Its great monuments. I used Chalk pastel to create landscape portraits of monuments, which I enhanced the colors of to give it a more vivid look. My work comes from a place of admiration for the country of Italy and its rich culture.
