Dear Team,
We are very pleased to announce that our turn as program/team name has come to participate in People with Possibility, an interactive program in high demand at Mercy Corps! It is designed to help managers manage, and teams build trust, share ideas and challenge each other.
People with Possibility is a program designed to help our teams to be even more adaptive, innovative, collaborative and curious. Based on neuroscience, behavioral economics, management theory and Mercy Corps experience, we have developed four practices to demonstrate that we care deeply as a foundation to building trust and empowering teams. They are called practices because they need to be practiced regularly:
Promote Wellbeing
Have Candid Conversations
Build Ownership
Make Time to Reflect and Adapt
As we prepare for our first session, please take this completely anonymous launch survey.
We will come together for seven sessions as a team to watch videos and discuss the content. The more open and honest we are, the better the results! Between sessions we can practice what we have discussed.
Before we begin, please take the completely anonymous launch survey.
Please insert details of your team sessions in here.
We understand that everyone is busy, and we all have different commitments. Please try and make the sessions when you can, as the conversations will strengthen our team. If you cannot, please take time to watch the videos for the week, and think about responses to the discussion questions.
All of the materials are stored on this People with Possibility website. Please read the pages under the "Getting Started" menu to better understand what People with Possibility is, what you can expect, and what is expected of you. Use the "Sessions" dropdown to navigate to each week’s session, and for topic summaries, use the "Topic Summaries" dropdown under "Resources."
Warmly,
Name
