Monday Morning Meet-up

The Monday Meet-up was set up after the death of MP Jo Cox. Part of her campaign was to encourage people and communities to get together. I thought this was a great idea and came up with the idea of a weekly coffee morning to give people the opportunity to meet up with old friends and make new ones too.

I approached the Mendlesham Community Charity with the idea and they kindly agreed to support it by paying the rent at the Old Schoolroom each week.

The Monday Meet-up is open to everyone and we're open every Monday from 10-12 in the Old Schoolroom. There is always a selection of home-made cakes and warm sausage rolls plus endless tea and coffee. There is also a selection of jigsaws books and magazines which are free to borrow. There is no charge for anything, but there is a bowl if you wish to leave a donation.
