Week 2: February 1-5- Tool Safety Check & Inventory

    1. How do you use the welder?

    2. How do you use the oxy-torch?

    3. How do you use the grinder?

    4. When do you need safety glasses or ear plugs?

    5. What tools do you commonly use in an agriculture shop?

    7. Why does storing tools in an organize fashion actually speed up efficiency?

    8. What PPE do you need to wear when welding? Gringing? Etc.

Week 5: Feb. 22-26-Ignition System

    2. What is a magneto? Do all engines have a magneto?

    3. How have ignitions systems changed over the past decades to supply a more reliable system?

    4. What does the spark plug do? Do all tractors have a spark plug?

    5. What is the purpose of the flywheel? How do you pull a flywheel?

  • PST1.d.12.h: Perform start-up and shut-down procedures on power units and equipment as specified in technical manuals.

Week 6: March 1-5- The Cooling System

Week 8: March 15-19 - Hydraulic System
