Friday night lights ran back onto the scene for Einstein football with the Titans holding a struggling 2-9 record.

With the end of the fall athletics season, the JV and Varsity girls’ soccer teams achieved winning records, with 6-4 for JV and 7-6-1 for Varsity.

Einstein Girls Cross Country claimed their first-ever division title after a narrow win against Rockville, 27-30. During their undefeated season, the Titans bested the likes of Blake, Northwood, and Magruder.

After 24 races in 21 different countries and a title fight until the very end, the 2025 Formula One season came to a close in Abu Dhabi on Dec. 7 with McLaren driver Lando Norris being crowned champion. Red Bull driver and championship runner-up, Max Verstappen, took victory in the race, but the win was not enough to push him into the championship lead.

This summer, senior Olivia Green represented the United States of America at the World Games in China. She competes in acrobatic gymnastics and is a two-time world silver medalist.
Green started acrobatic gymnastics at 11 years old, after doing artistic gymnastics and dance in earlier years. She “wanted a combo of the two,” gymnastics and dance, so she started Acro.

The 2025 NCAA Division 1 women’s volleyball championship ended in a historic way, as the No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies swept the No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats 3-0 to win their first-ever national title for their program.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, Albert Einstein High School’s Varsity field hockey team ended a historic regular season at 8-4.
Fockey started the season with two dominant wins over Springbrook and Paint Branch. After a grueling regular time ending tied, the Titans went into overtime versus Springbrook, with senior Lucy Stenger finally breaking the draw with an incredible overtime goal.

On Friday, Dec. 5, the first stage groups of the 2026 World Cup, being held in the United States, were drawn. The ceremony was held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., where every qualifying country was placed into one of 12 groups A-L, with four teams in each group.

Former Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin has controversially left Ole Miss to become the head football coach at rival Louisiana State University (LSU). Kiffin has a history of leaving teams in the dust. Kiffin agreed to a seven-year contract worth $91 million with the Tigers.
