Over the past few months of the school year, Einstein has seen a number of staff and security members disappear without notice from the school. While personal reasons like paternal or maternal leave are a common and understandable reason for staff to take a long absence, those reasons are usually shared with the community. However, the unexplained absences seen by multiple Einstein staff members are causing concern, especially with regard to the severity of the rumors that are running rampant.

The senior parking lot has raised many issues among students when they leave for the day. During the fall season, it wasn’t as big a problem because a large number of students weren’t leaving at the time of dismissal due to fall sports practices. Einstein football has struggled to win games for many years, and this year's streak is no exception. They only achieved two wins, one against Watkins Mill, with the final score being 44-38, and the other against Springbrook, 28-16.

The beginning of this school year saw many policy changes, one being “bell to bell, no cell.” What this policy means is that cell phones are only to be used before or after class, not during. Some students don’t like this change, but it is necessary. Cell phones can be really distracting, which can negatively impact a student’s grades.
