The future of winter holiday music needs a change. Most people, whether they celebrate Christmas or not, recognize iconic tunes such as “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey and “Jingle Bell Rock” by Bobby Helms, but will draw a complete blank when asked to name one Christmas song outside of the top ten.

As I arrived at school on May 22, 2025, I noticed a few irregularities at the school. There was a small amount of toilet paper in the trees and on the school, plastic forks lodged in the ground, tents in the parking lot, and a few things written in chalk on the asphalt in front of the school, some even included expletives.

As a senior, it hurts to watch your high school football team get defeated at home countless times. Whether witnessing the 42-28 shocking defeat against Northwood or blowout losses by Paint Branch, Damascus, and Kennedy. Einstein coaches have not been able to make any necessary adjustments.

The beginning of this school year saw many policy changes, one being “bell to bell, no cell.” What this policy means is that cell phones are only to be used before or after class, not during. Some students don’t like this change, but it is necessary. Cell phones can be really distracting, which can negatively impact a student’s grades.

Einstein football has struggled to win games for many years, and this year's streak is no exception. They only achieved two wins, one against Watkins Mill, with the final score being 44-38, and the other against Springbrook, 28-16.
