In week four of the football season, the Einstein Titans faced off against their school rivals, the Blair Blazers. Tensions were high between both teams at the beginning of the game, with players and fans taunting each other over social media.

As fall athletics returned in full force, an important piece was missing for many MCPS schools. Only 16 of the 25 schools had an assigned athletic trainer. Of the remaining nine schools all but two had a vendor contact in place, meaning as soon as a trainer became available with the company they are contracted to, they would have a trainer. Einstein and Northwood, however, did not have a contract in place that planned to supply them with trainers until after the sports season started. Einstein now has a hired trainer who started near the end of the fall athletics season, but the solution came too late for many fall sports athletes.

After winning the SEC soccer championship in Orange Beach, Ala., Vanderbilt senior goalie Sarah Fuller and her team celebrated with a swim in the Gulf of Mexico. Professional sports team are collectively taking a stand around the nation using their platforms to their advantage, striking out and protesting systemic racial injustice because of the innocent American lives being taken by racial profiling/assault/and murder (ironically) by the individuals meant to keep us safe.
