On Jan. 5, senior dancers Audrey Park and Duretti Hordofaa received the Maryland All-State Honors title, following Einstein Dance Company’s remarkable performance at the Maryland Public High School Dance Showcase at Goucher College. All-State Dance allowed every school to nominate at most five dancers to compete, and out of the estimated 120 competitors, the Einstein duo was a part of the 24 that won the Accredited Dance award, which recognizes them as best in the state.

Rapper and musician André Benjamin, known under the alias André 3000, has returned after 18 years to drop a new album, and it isn't what people were expecting. Benjamin gained popularity through his rapping in the group OutKast, which has international hits such as “Ms. Jackson” and “Hey Ya!” that are still enjoyed by many listeners today. However, his newest album, “New Blue Sun,” released on Nov. 17, is by no means a return to form.
