Using elements of Stanislavski's system for acting, you will develop a Realism performance in a group of three.
You will be given a 'neutral' script, meaning that you and your partners will have to discuss and create all the given circumstances for the scene.
GIVEN CIRCUMSTANCES - the who, what, where, when and why of the script. Use the handout below to complete this work. The more detailed you are, the easier it will be to believe in, and commit to your acting.
These are the documents you will need for your ABC Scenes.
Your teacher will assign which script you are working on, and you will then complete the Given Circumstances outline as a group.
Be as detailed as you can so that you have a rich shared history between the characters.
The rubric is very similar to how you are assessed for the final Devised Performance Learning Task - so this is an opportunity to get clear feedback on your use of your acting skills and what you can work on between now and then.
