Communication with Students

Information is frequently transmitted to onsite students through Nightingmail student email (mail.mccn.edu), the CARMELink student portal, the College newsletter (Carmel Wrapper) or bulletin board notices. Onsite students are expected to check their email and CARMELink and Canvas accounts frequently. 

Information is frequently transmitted to online students through student Nightingmail/ email (mail.mccn.edu), Canvas (http://mccn.instructure.com) and CARMELink (carmelink.mccn.edu/ICS/). Online students are expected to check their Nightingmail, Canvas and CARMELink accounts frequently, at a minimum of every 48 hours, as they will be held responsible for updates and new information contained in email communication and courses. 

Students will only receive official MCCN communications through their Nightingmail e-mail account. It is expected that students reply promptly to the requests of faculty or staff members’ emails.
