Complete the Pattern
Aim: Copy, continue, create and describe a repetitive pattern with two elements.
Embedded Files
An activity for 1-2 children.
Equipment: set of coloured counters or cubes, strips showing patterns of colours with some spaces missing.

What to do:
Students complete the pattern as shown on the strips.
Open option: Provide blank strips for students to create their own pattern. They remove one or two counters/cubes and ask a friend to identify whoch ones are missing.
Provide opportunities for students create patterns with a variety of materials and objects.
