College Policy about Withdrawals
The last day students may withdraw from 12, 15, and 16 week classes is two weeks before the end of the semester. The last day students may withdraw from 8 week classes is one week before the end of the class. Students can only use Self-Service to withdraw during the appropriate time frame. If the time has passed for a student to withdraw from a class, they will not be able to withdraw.
Fall Semester Registration
The FINAL date and time to sign up for FALL SEMESTER is:
Monday June 1, 2026 at 3 pm

Vaccine Waiver request deadline:
Monday June 1, 2026 at 3 pm.

For clinical courses, the final day to complete and upload your CastleBranch requirements:
Monday July 27, 2026 at 3 pm.
Contact either Ms Julie Murphy at murphj26@matc.edu or Ms Kristin Maiermerz at maiermek@matc.edu for CastleBranch questions.
If you are not compliant in CastleBranch by the deadline, you will be withdrawn from your clinical course(s).
Do not ignore CastleBranch emails.
For clinical courses at AdvocateAurora, Ascension, VA, Froedtert, SelectSpecialty and Childrens: All onboarding requirements must be completed on this date:
Monday July 27, 2026 at 3 pm.
If you signed up for a clinical rotation at an AdvocateAurora site, you will receive a separate email soon about MyClinicalExchange (their onboarding platform).
If you have not completed required onboarding by the deadline, you will be withdrawn from your clinical course(s).
If you are registered for a clinical course at a long term care facility, your instructor will be in contact about onboarding requirements.

WISPAN's mental wellness group is a confidential safe space for all nurses and nursing students to tell their stories, listen to others, and build connections within a culture of support where you can develop resilience and conquer burnout.
We meet every Wednesday at 7PM central time.
All meetings are held via Zoom, are confidential, and are free.
Nursing students are encouraged and welcome to attend.

Tutor face to face or virtually according to your class schedule. Training is paid. To tutor a nursing class, you need to have already passed the class with a B or better grade.
