Semester II Practical Nursing
In order to enroll in Semester II courses, students must successfully complete ALL Semester I courses.

Important Information for Semester II ("Level Two") Practical Nursing Students: Please read carefully.
Semester II Practical Nursing is composed of the following courses:
NRSPN 305 Health Alterations
NRSPN 306 Health Promotion
NRSPN 307 Clinical Care Across the Lifespan
NRSPN 308 Introduction to Clinical Management
NRSPN 305 and NRSPN 306 are offered at the Milwaukee (downtown) Campus. NRSPN 307 and NRSPN 308 are at a clinical site. ⬇️ Scroll down for a list of sites ⬇️
(Note: you will be signing up for both NRSPN 307 and NRSPN 308 at the same time; both courses are at the same clinical site all semester).

Direct communication by students with clinical/field placement facilities to inquire regarding clinical/field placement is not allowed.
All students, please be aware of the following:
Once final grades are posted for the current semester, MATC reserves the right to move any student from one section to another based on section enrollment.
No special requests for clinical sites or campus location will be accepted.
There will be space available in all courses for students in good standing to continue in the program but you must register by the deadline.
Students who have any expired requirements or requirements not uploaded onto Castle Branch will not be able to attend any nursing courses (theory or clinical).
All records contained in Castle Branch must remain current throughout the semester. Therefore, take the time prior to the start of the semester to plan for/update any requirements due to expire.
All nursing courses utilize Blackboard. Please check your Blackboard course regularly for updates and announcements, including information about Clinical Orientation.
