High Tea is one of life’s great joys.
Known as a British tradition, High Tea is a meal made up of an assortment of mini savoury items such as sandwiches, pies, and quiches, scones and small sweet desserts such as teacakes and tarts.
High Tea is usually served on tiered stands alongside tea in fine china teaware.
In the 1800's High Tea was served around 4 pm as the main meal of the day. However, it is now a meal enjoyed at all times of the day.
At Mary Eats Cake we have a range of different package options for customers to select from. All High Tea Packages include 8 items per person (4 savoury, 3 sweet items and scones) and a selection of house-blended teas.
We have custom-made round gold stands that our High Tea is served on. Savouries are always served at the bottom, scones in the middle and desserts at the top.
Each customer has their High Tea setting with a vintage cup and saucer, plate, cutlery, napkin and champagne coupe.
