At Martham Academy and Nursery, we work closely with a wide range of external agencies and specialist professionals to ensure that we understand and meet the individual needs of our children.

Working collaboratively with families and professionals allows us to draw on specialist knowledge, advice and expertise to help remove barriers to learning, support children's wellbeing and ensure that they have the right strategies and provision in place to thrive.

Working with CEPP

We also have access to specialist support through The Child and Educational Psychology Practice (CEPP). This includes support from Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Specialist Teachers and Speech and Language Therapists.

Our school SENCOs meet with the CEPP team on a termly basis to discuss individual cases, share professional advice and consider appropriate support and interventions. This may include assessments, observations and the planning of personalised interventions to meet the needs of individual children.

We always work in partnership with parents and carers, and parental permission is sought before assessments or observations are carried out by external professionals.
