Phonics

We use the online platform for Supersonic Phonic Friends SSPF.  The children start to learn phonics when they start to arrive in Reception and are grouped by ability for a daily 25-minute phonics session, using a range of resources and supplementary ICT resources. Children have access to a wide range of reading material. Children are provided with reading books which match the sounds that they have learnt and move on to ability banded books when they are ready.
