- 5 DIFFERENT Photographs taken during your time with baby. Each photo should be labeled at the bottom with (who, what, when, where, and any other details or feelings). These should be taken a variety of places including but not not limited to:
- Baby goes to School- What is it like caring for Baby at school?
- Baby goes out with friends- What doe friends say or do?
- Baby goes on errands- What do people do or say when you are out to dinner, at a relative’s house shopping etc.
- Baby goes…-How did you feel caring for baby?
- Baby goes... -How did others feel while you cared for baby?
- In an effort to analyze changes in students attitudes after the simulation create the following meaningful posts answering the questions below:
- Was the parenting simulation more or less difficult than expected? How did your family react? At first? At the end? How were you treated in public? How would you feel about asking your family for help with a real child at this point in your life?
- How did the baby affect your social life? Sleep? School/work? What adjustments did you have to make to your schedule/life?
- How has the simulation affected your life plans? Predict hoe finishing school and moving toward completing your educational goals would be affected if you became a parent while still a student.
- FEMALES ONLY: Eighty percent of teen mothers live below the poverty level for 10 years after they become parents. Think about you feel and behave when you don’t get what you want. Predict how you would respond to living a lifestyle based on your current income (or a job you could quality for now while getting an education.)
- MALES ONLY: Think about how you feel and behave when you don’t get what you want. Predict how you would respond to living a lifestyle based on your current income (or job you could qualify for now) AND had to pay child support at 17 percent of your salary while getting and education.
- Compare & contrast what it would be like to be a parent as a teen (what you just experienced), with what you think it would be like to be a parent as an adult? Consider:
How would the expenses of the first year be covered? (insurance, furniture items, consumables (diapers, formula), clothing, day care, etc.) Who would take care of the child during the first year?

- Discuss with your parents how they handled you as an infant. How did they handle the stress? Is there anything they would do differently? Any other suggestions they would recommend?
- Overall thoughts about the experience/conclusion.
