Each year, FCCLA joins the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) and the entire CTE community to celebrate CTE Month! During the month of February, ACTE encourages everyone to explore and learn the amazing accomplishments, achievements and contributions of career and technical education (CTE) professionals, students and alumni with the theme "Opportunities for Career Success."

What’s your FCCLA Story?
Official Dress! Representatives from FACS Cabinet Creations by Belle FCCLA have been invited to share their entrepreneurial story at the Missouri School Board Association Student Showcase Event 1:00-3:30pm at our State Capital in Jefferson City, MO.
**Comfort Closet Donations will be accepted all week in the FACS rm. For each item students will receive two signed tickets for Teacher Bowling during the FACS Career Skills Fair.
Desired Comfort Closet Donations: Dry shampoo, new socks/underwear, Deodorant, feminine hygiene products, tooth brush, tooth paste, hair ties, cloth grocery bags, etc.

What’s your family story?
Wear your warm, fuzzy or crazy socks! Show others what they mean to you by sending Warm and Fuzzies to your school family. Led by Girls Health. Warm and Fuzzies can be found in the FACS Rm. Any inappropriate correspondence with warm and fuzzies will result in a discipline referral.

What’s your future career story?
Pajama Or Comfy Clothes Day! Bring in a donation for the Comfort Closet for two chances during Teacher Bowling at the “FACS Career Skills Fair” during Advisory led by Career Development students. The graduating class with the highest bowling score will earn a Spirit Point!

Thursday, Feb 13-
Educator Day
Twin Day! (Twin with your favorite teacher or fellow student leader.) Elementary Reading Project led by Child Development students. Members have coordinated with Mrs. Feeler and Elementary Teachers for 9-10 reading project teams to present age appropriate mini lessons encouraging character and skill development on February 13th. Each lesson should take no more than 30 minutes and must include a book and a fine motor activity which relates to the lesson theme. A google form was sent out asking each teacher if they have a preference of theme/skills to be taught in an effort to help make the best fit for each classroom as to not disrupt student learning.

Leaders in Red
Wear your red! Valentines Day Delights Delivery during 5th Hour. Pick up orders will be available during Advisory. Led by Entrepreneurship, Food Innovations and World Foods students.
National FCCLA Week will take place February 11 - 15, 2019 and will feature the following themes for each day:
