The teacher understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies to encourage learners to develop deep understanding of content areas and their connections, and to build skills to apply knowledge in meaningful ways.
This is a certificate that I received after completing 60 minutes of Professional Development. In order to achieve this certificate I had to listen to a video lecture as well as correctly answer all questions on a quiz that was given after the lecture. This will help me with my students, because I will be able to effective use various feedback that I can give in class to help create discussions to help students show their understanding of the class material.
