I believe that children are the future of our communities…
I believe that children will become what the future of our world looks like. Each with their own set of skills and experience to help the next generation. I will assist children the best that I can to help their futures be brighter, by helping them see what their talents are and how they can use those talents. By helping them see their talents, I hope that I can help create a better future for their generation and the generations after, so that our communities can also improve.
Allow students to teach you while you teach them…
Children bring new view points to a number of situations. They can offer a new way to explain a task, or help us to see a perspective that we may not have seen ourselves. As much as we teach them they can teach us. By remembering this I aim to keep my ears open as I listen to students questions and other parts of my classes to try and learn as much as I teach the students.
The questions children have give directions on how to guide them…
Teachers are meant to be mentors of children. The questions that a child has help to guide teachers. By listening to the questions a student has, my classrooms can effectively guide and help the children in it. As well as helping me to guide them on their journeys. By knowing how to best help them, I can create activities and select the musical pieces needed to ensure their success and growth.
