Central idea: Water management can play a role which influences the environment
This week we have been completing the last steps of the Young Enterprise Five Pounds Challenge. Each group worked within their formed companies to prepare, cook and sell their produce. They all reached their predicted profit and more, all this is being donated to their chosen charities. They reflected upon the experience and spoke about all the key skills that they have developed whilst working at a team, resilience, adaptability and communication being some of the key skills.
In maths we have been continuing our learning with time and solving a range of problems with both analogue and digital clocks. We have been calculating durations of time and comparing given times.
We have begun our new guided reading text, Nim's Island, and have been enjoying getting to know the characters through discussions and group activities based around the book.
