We began this week with our KS2 Instrument Concert. I would like to say a huge well done to all of the KS2 children for their beautiful singing and their efforts when playing musical instruments. This was a lovely event and a great way to start the week. I would like to say thank you to Mrs Williams for organising this event and to Reverend Nicky for letting us use the Church.
On Wednesday we had our Christmas Fair, I would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Rawling and the PTA for organising and running this event. It was lovely to see so many of you attend this event, we hope you all enjoyed it.
Next week is set to be another exciting week with lots more Christmas events including: EYFS/KS1 Nativity, KS2 Carol Concert, Christmas dinner, Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas Parties. This will hopefully be a fun way to end the term.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Reminder - We are a Nut Free School
Can we please remind you we are a nut free school.
We have several children who have very serious nut allergies that can develop into a potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. For this reason all nut-based products are not allowed on the school grounds.
An allergic reaction or anaphylaxis can occur as a result of digestion, inhalation or any other contact with nut-based products. Please remember to check the labels of all food and even if it says may contain nuts, then please do not send that food product into school.
For example:
• Spreads, e.g. chocolate spreads like Nutella
• Cereal bars
• Biscuits
• Cakes containing nuts
• Condiments e.g. sauces
Please note, if a member of staff notices a pupil eating a nut product, the product will be removed politely and they will explain why this has been done.
We thank you for your ongoing support and co-operation regarding this matter.
Office Messages
The Christmas Card Post Box will be on display in the library for one more week. Children are invited to write cards for their friends and staff and then post them through the letter box.
Please ensure the recipient's name and class are written on the front of the envelope.
Our Year 6 elves will do daily collections and deliveries to the classrooms.
Due to GDPR we are unable to provide class lists to parents..
If your child is in receipt of benefits-related free school meals you will receive 1 x £60 voucher via email on Friday 20th December 2024. This consists of a one-off payment of £40 to support with Christmas dinner ingredients, plus £10 a week for the two-week break.
Vouchers are redeemable for food at Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury's, M&S, Morrisons, Aldi, Waitrose and Iceland.
