Our first transition morning went really well this week and the children thoroughly enjoyed meeting their new teachers. As you will have seen from my letter Miss Kaur and Miss Dean will be leaving us at the end of the term. We would like to thank them all for their hard work and wish them every future success and happiness.
We have some new staff who will be joining the Marden team. We would like to welcome Miss Henry, Mr Syred, Mrs Willis and Mrs Hodgkiss. They will be in school again next week for our second transition session.
On Wednesday we had our summer fair. Whilst it was a much smaller event this year, the children still thoroughly enjoyed their selves. I would like to thank Mrs Rawling and the PTA for their hard work in organising this and Year 6 who helped in running the stalls.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Mrs H Penning
