Central idea: Human behaviour can affect the survival of our planet.
This week the children have thoroughly enjoyed finishing their globe project. The children have drawn on their DT, art and geography skills in order to create a successful outcome. We have also delved into our second line of inquiry where we have looked at our new artist Rothko where we have focused on colour and tone. The children have experimented using colour and tone, so they could apply this to their final outcome where they have represented a world habitat in the style of Rothko.
In maths we have looked at volume and capacity, temperature and we are now moving onto position and direction. The children enjoyed using the measuring cylinders and coloured water to help them with their learning.
