Central idea: People have a responsibilty to look after living things (plants)
We have had another wonderful week in Willow class. This week has been particularly warm and we have enjoyed using the beautiful outdoor areas in our school, such as the lovely shaded areas on the field where we spent time, planting cress seeds and writing down instructions on how to care for a plant. We have read another core text which was Jasper's Beanstalk. We have written an alternative ending of our choice as well as talk and write about what our magic bean would grow into and where it could possibly lead.
In maths we are beginning to learn to tell the time, starting with the understanding of the structure of the day as well as the days of the week.
Please remember to bring a labelled hat to school as well as a labelled water bottle.
Reminder: We will be going on our school trip to Tyland Barn on Monday. Please refer to the original letter you received to let you know what the children will need to bring with them.
