On Monday 16th October 10 of the Year 6 girls attended the Girls Champions League at the Gallagher Stadium in Maidstone. The girls did so well against 37 other schools across Kent!

The girls played 5 games in the group rounds, where we came third out of 7 teams. Goals were score by Aeris during our final game and Amber after scoring a fantastic penalty! Rosie, our goal keeper demonstrated excellent resilience and only conceded 1 goal throughout the whole tournament!

During the 5 intense games the girls communicated well, demonstrated their skills and showed what fantastic sports women they were, we all had a brilliant day.

Sadly, the girls missed out on playing in the semi finals by 1 point! However, they did an amazing job at representing Marden and we are very very proud of you!
