2Sequoia   Learning Update

Central idea: Developing identity can develop a sense of belonging

At the end of another busy week, we have come to the end of our key text 'The Name Jar' where we have explored communities and the culture of South Korea. This led to some wonderful learning about different continents along with map reading. We have ended the term with a wonderful Korean feast including. Korean chicken, Korean gyoza, vegetable pancakes and even some Korean crisps.

In our maths learning we have continued to work on using facts we already know such as number bonds, to help us add and subtract and explore the patterns we see.

Thank you so much for your support with the amazing homework. The children enjoyed showcasing their projects and we were incredibly impressed by the effort  and the children's enthusiasm to share what they have been working on. We definitely have some amazing scientists and artists among us!
