3B Learning Update

Central idea: People can go on vacation to explore different communities.

In our inquiry, we wrote a recount based on different stimulus, that the children were really enthusiastic about. We focused on their description, and sentence structure to ensure they produced a really strong piece of writing. I was super impressed. We also began our second line of inquiry, ' An inquiry into tourism opportunities.' We started to look at what this means. The children looked at 7 different countries based on a key text and researched into the tourism opportunities there.

In maths, we finished our unit on fractions and have just begun looking at time.
