2D Learning Update

Central idea: Human behaviour can affect the survival of our planet.

This week we have explored animal groupings and classification within science themed inquiry lessons. Using all this knowledge, and what we have gathered in previous weeks, we then created our animal considering the range of characteristics and features that it might have, as well as what habitat it lives in. Fun was definitely had in naming our animals - we had lagers, croctoises and torzards to name but a few. We then wrote explanation texts to explain our animal so that anyone would be able to identify and recognise it!

In maths, we have continued exploring measurement with a focus on mass and capacity, applying this to a range of scenarios, both practical and theory.
