Central idea: Human behaviour can affect the survival of our planet.
This week started with outdoor learning and exploring pond, meadow and field habitats to see which animals and plants we could find within these. We carried this theme on by researching a chosen habitat to discover animals found within that environment and explore how they have adapted to survive there. We then further explored our local habitat as part of our Father's Day activities - it was really fun finding minibeasts with our parents!
As part of arts week, we decided to make a display to show the different habitats and animals found there, using a range of median including paint and textiles.
Weight and mass has been our focus in maths this week, whilst we have begun exploring animal migration in our new guided reading book!
