Principal's Message
It has been another busy week at Marden. On Wednesday, our EYFS children embarked on an exciting trip to Bedgebury. Despite the cold weather, they had an excellent time exploring the natural surroundings and were eager to share their experiences upon their return.
On the same day, Year 5 visited the local library. We extend our gratitude to the library staff for kindly hosting our children and to Ms Fuller for providing an insightful overview of the various services available. This visit offered another wonderful opportunity for the children to cultivate a love of reading, which we believe is essential for their development.
Additionally, we hosted a parent coffee morning today, and we would like to thank all those who attended and contributed valuable ideas. We hope this gathering was beneficial and provided a platform for you to ask questions and share your perspectives. We aim to organise another coffee morning soon and encourage as many of you as possible to join us.
Furthermore, our lunch clubs commenced this week and were met with great enthusiasm. The children thoroughly enjoyed participating in a variety of activities and were excited to embrace new experiences.
Wishing you all a pleasant weekend.

Office Messages
We are writing to provide a reminder regarding the school’s policy on dogs. To ensure the safety of all our pupils, staff, and visitors, dogs are not permitted anywhere on the school site.
This policy applies at all times, including during drop-off and pick-up, and covers all areas of the premises, including:
The Main Office and Reception area
The Breakfast Club and Late Stay entrances
All playgrounds and walkways
To avoid any misunderstanding, please note that this rule applies to all dogs, regardless of their size, temperament, or how they are being transported. This includes dogs:
On leads
Carried in arms
Carried in bags, trolleys or pushchairs
We understand that many of our families are dog owners and enjoy walking their pets to school. However, we must prioritise the well-being of our children, some of whom may have allergies or a fear of dogs.
We kindly ask that you leave your pets at home or arrange to meet your children outside the school gates.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school site a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
