The children have been exploring the captivating artwork of Bridget Riley, studying her use of pattern, shape, and optical illusion. They then created their own versions inspired by her style, thinking carefully about how art can be used to express aspects of identity.

The class have also been learning about how Christmas is celebrated around the world, discovering the wide variety of traditions that different cultures enjoy at this time of year. They were fascinated to see how customs have evolved over time and how certain traditions have become part of different cultures in unique and meaningful ways. 

The children are also putting the final touches to their Christmas performances, and excitement is building as they get ready to share their hard work with you next week.
