Things are getting busy around the garden! It's finally time to transplant some of our spring seedlings into the garden. And some of our cold hardy seeds are getting planted too. Indoors, we still have lots of seedlings cozy under the grow lights waiting for both the upcoming plant sale on May 15 and for warmer weather for our garden. Check out the photos below!

Ms. McAdoo's class planted two varieties of potatoes, Yukon Gold and Adirondack Blue. Potato harvesting in the fall will be full of fun surprises!

Ms. Thompson's class planted beet seeds and loved observing the spiky seeds.

Ms. Curry's class transplanted some of the cabbage and lettuce they have been growing inside in the grow labs out in the garden. They've been diligently watering and caring for the seedlings and spent this week hardening them off so they would be prepared for the harsher outdoor environment.

Ms. Fitzgerald's class transplanted some of the kale they started from seed in our grow labs.

Some of the classes also brought out insect scavenger hunts to do some garden exploring. It was a great day to be outside planting! See more photos below.
