Our Farm to School program continued with garden preparations this week by starting more seeds indoors. Students have been super excited to see the different shapes, sizes and colors of the seeds we’ve been planting. And getting a chance to get their hands dirty has been fun too.

On Wednesday Ms. Dufresne’s class started Red Russian and Lacinato (Dinosaur!) kale seeds as well as sweet, poblano and hot peppers.Ms. Boomhover’s class jump started some of the flowers we’ll grow by planting zinnia and nasturtium seeds. Ms. Dulude’s class also started flowers by planting sunflowers, marigolds, morning glories, and sweet peas. We’re excited to see some of those super tall Mammoth sunflowers make a comeback this year!!
