Wellbeing hub

secondary wellbeing

Here at Manor Lakes P-12 College, a multi-tiered approach to addressing the wellbeing needs of our students has been developed. We have a dedicated and passionate team of wellbeing staff who are committed to ensuring that the transition to secondary school and beyond is a successful one.

Our aim is to work collaboratively with families to problem solve any issues that may impact on students ability to arrive at class ready to learn.

The wellbeing team is able to link families in with both internal and external services, develop clear plans for successful learning and offer mentoring sessions aimed at guiding students into making positive choices.

The wellbeing team also works alongside our student leadership team, including peer mentors who are trained to resolve minor friendship conflicts and offer other supports to members of the junior school.

We look forward to developing strong partnerships with you all and being part of your secondary school journey.

This initiative funds general practitioners (GPs) to attend up to 100 Victorian government secondary schools up to one day a week. The GPs provide medical advice and health care to those students most in need.

The objectives of the program are to:

  • provide assistance to young people to identify and address any health problems early
