The Manor Lakes College website is a great source of information for students, parents and staff, as well as people outside of the College community who are interested in our school. Newsletters, policies, news events and student work are just some of the important features of the site, which provides a terrific means of communication between stakeholders of the College.


Any student photos appearing on the website, in the newsletter, or on Facebook must be cross checked with the parent multiple permissions form and any content contributed must be adequately proofread (by the Secondary Principal) and be suitable for our intended audience.


The content of our webpage is managed by the Secondary Principal - who passes the information on to an contracted administrator. The website address is: https://manorlakesp12.vic.edu.au/


The content of our Facebook page and newsletter, must be reviewed by the Secondary Principal - who will then get administration to upload it. This is the same as blanket Compass posts to parents.


Staff should not comment about the school on social media - and must direct any queries about the school to the school’s formal contacts, such as work emails and phone numbers.


Staff should not be friends with students through phone, text, email, or on social media etc... - until a student is at least 18 years of age AND has graduated from high school.


Staff should make all of their own social media sites/posts private.


Staff should not share personal phone numbers or emails with students - phones for camps/excursions can be borrowed from the IT desk in the library.
