Hello to all,
My name is Whaea Sarah and I am the teacher of Room 4. I completed my teaching degree at the end of 2024 and graduated in 2025. I have proudly been teaching in Room 4 since Term 3, 2024. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a Learning Assistant for ten years while studying in the last 3 years, which gave me a strong foundation and a deep understanding of how children learn.
I absolutely love being the teacher of Room 4 and feel incredibly lucky to work with all of your babies every day. My passion for teaching has grown over time, and I am grateful to be in a role where I can support tamariki to grow, learn, and thrive. Seeing their confidence grow, their friendships develop, and their curiosity shine is the best part of my day.
In Room 4, I believe in creating a space where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. We learn through play, exploration, problem-solving, and lots of laughter. I am committed to building strong relationships with whānau, as I know that we all work together to give our tamariki the best start on their learning journey. I look forward to continuing this journey with you and watching our children blossom throughout the year.
