My name is Whaea Michelle, I am an overseas-trained teacher from the Philippines. Before I became a part of MCS family I was an ECE teacher for almost three years. I am so grateful to be given a chance to teach and be a part of the incredible MCS teaching staff.  Teaching is not just my profession, but my passion. I have genuine love for teaching children and supporting them in their early learning journey.

I am caring, patient, and dedicated educator who believes that every child is unique and capable. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where Tamariki feel valued, respected, and confident to explore, learn, grow and thrive.

I am committed to continuous  improvement and professional growth. I strongly believe that education is a never ending process, and as a teacher, I am also continuously learning - reflecting on my practice, embracing new ideas, and growing alongside the children I teach.

My goal is to support Tamariki holistically, nurturing not only their academic development but also their social, emotional, and cultural identity, helping them become confident and capable lifelong learners.
