Create a cause-and-effect flowchart that explains how WWI contributed to the rise of dictatorship in Japan and Italy, and how this shaped society.

Instructions

1. Start with WWI

   • Identify key outcomes of WWI for each country (e.g., economic hardship, territorial ambitions, political instability).

2. Trace the Path to Dictatorship

   • Show how these outcomes led to:

     • Social unrest

     • Economic crises

     • Political movements

     • Rise of leaders (Mussolini in Italy, militarists in Japan)

3. Include Personality Study

   • Add boxes for Mussolini and Japanese leadership (Hirohito/Tojo):

     • Leadership style

     • Use of propaganda

     • Key decisions that consolidated power

4. Impact on Lower Classes

   • Show effects on ordinary citizens:

     • Employment programs

     • Militarization

     • Loss of freedoms

     • Nationalist indoctrination

5. Visual Design

   • Use arrows to show cause → effect.

   • Color-code:

     • Blue for Japan

     • Green for Italy

   • Include images or symbols (flags, propaganda posters).
