Welcome to the Lush Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Learning Library

Becoming the company we want to be is an active, evolving process to shape the company based on our values and ethics. We recognise that this process takes dedication, commitment and learning. As part of building a community and business where all are welcome, always we are on an educational journey to understand injustices and inequalities, and the real world implications. Importantly we aim to shape our collective learning through actions for equity, fairness and justice.

This section of the Learning Hub Library guides you through equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) learning at Lush: find out about our ED&I learning approach as a business, and what learning sessions are available to you as Lush team member.

At the end of this page you will also find access and links to a Google Drive full of resources to support your ED&I learning, and links to join the Lush Community Networks.

What is our approach to equity, diversity and inclusion learning at Lush?
We have four types of Lush ED&I learning sessions: core learning, emotional tools, identity and lived experience, and discussion spaces. Through each of the categories, you will find tools, conversations and learning on Lush’s commitments to respect at work, allyship and equity, as well as emotional tools to encourage and support an inclusive workplace. You will also find resources on identity and lived experience to so we can grow as compassionate, kind and knowledgeable teams together.

Core learning includes four training sessions:

Allyship
Equity in the Workplace
Modern Slavery Awareness

Emotional tools builds on the core learning, and are sessions designed to support skills for facilitation, apologising, giving and receiving feedback, conflict resolution and building trust.

Recognising identity and lived experience is integral and important to equity, diversity and inclusion. These sessions help to build understanding and empathy around identity, including gender, race, disability, sexuality and neurodiversity.

Discussion spaces are held as part of an ongoing Coffee & Conversation series, which are hosted on different diversity topics. The sessions are not recorded to create safer spaces and to encourage participation.

Join Your Community

Lush Community Networks are safe spaces for Lush colleagues to connect through shared interests, life experience and identity. Community Network work in partnership with the business to create a more inclusive environment for everyone! You can now join Community Networks as long as you have an employee number and a Gmail account!
