Discover with Me (Math):

Every 9 weeks, receive a collection of grade level, playful, hands-on, step by step activities for your family to practice math concepts at home.

Book Buddies Read A Book Event:

September 27, 2024, during car pick up 5:00-5:30PM.

Summoning all pirates, princesses, fairy tale creatures and more – Each student will receive a book of their choice from Book Buddies of East Texas.  Adults, you will receive tips & strategies that help your child understand what they're reading, build vocabulary, and improve their reading skills.

Lights On Afterschool:

October 24, 2024

Join us & Afterschool Programs across the nation to celebrate Lights on Afterschool. Help us shine a light on the impact that afterschool programs are making-supporting children, families & schools. For every one child that gets to participate in an afterschool program, three more are waiting to get in.

Friendsgiving:

November 8, 2024, 4:00-5:00PM.

A celebration of the special bonds we create with friends, family & the special people in our lives. We will be creating "Hopes and dreams," chain link to add to our Christmas tree at the Festival of Trees at the Museum of East Texas. 

Black History Month:

East Texas Food Bank:

April 16, 2025, 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Parents and students will discovery a healthy way to snack by making a delicious Trailmix.
